Sorry guys I can't believe I haven't blogged since Wednesday. Busy busy weekend, as most of you know Patrick's birthday was Saturday 3/27 and we went to a BBQ with the other coaches for the football team. It was a lot of fun, we had great food & naturally a cake for my sweeties special day. Sorry you guys couldn't get him on the phone but we were in a small town in the National Forest and believe it or not but there was no cell phone service there. Unfortunately, Dad doesn't always hear the phone at home so you didn't get an answer there either. I'm so sorry but I can't deny we had a great time & Pat was surprised when they came out with his cake. Heck, I think HE is the "Fountain of Youth" his hair is getting darker and he looks younger - yep, something is wrong with this picture. Maybe he is Ponce de Leon???
We did get some work done around the house on Friday, we scrubbed down the back porch, bought a nice heavy Black & Decker storage cabinet for the porch to keep odds & ends in, and it looks wonderful out there. We're getting ready to have some cook-outs when are you guys heading this way???? One at a time or all of you at one time we don't care if we run short on room we'll make room.
Dad has been doing pretty good, he is trying to get around a little & seems to be feeling better. He shot a game of pool with Patrick last night - I think Patrick let him win regardless, it was nice to see him up & moving around. We've been shooting pool every night and he has been beating me like a whipped dog I don't know what's happened to my game but it's gone - long GONE!!
Well, I think I'll close & get this posted - promise to blog tomorrow. We love & miss everyone.
