Well, I can tell it's going to rain sometime today = it's only 60 degrees outside & our humidity has jumped to 90%. It doesn't feel humid outside but I obviously haven't been out long enough to get the real "feel" for the day. I have started a load of laundry & Pat has already gone to the warehouse (God only knows for what). Dad is doing his normal "chair routine" - reading & listening to the news.
We have no special plans for the day. I know we have to go to the drug store & pick up prescriptions and probably make our weekly trip to Lowes for the chair railing for the pool table room. We finished the bottom of the walls yesterday and the room is now two-toned I'm certain Pat will soon be posting some pictures. Only thing left to do is put up the chair railing and decide what type of art work we're going to add to the room. I'd love to find some antique or antique looking art for the walls guess that's a reason to head out to a few second hand stores & see what we might find (um maybe later this week).
Tomorrow is Dad's appointment for his new hearing aids (thank GOD) hopefully he'll be able to hear a little of what we're saying to him. 3:00 tomorrow can't come soon enough for us. The doctor said he will still only have 44% in one ear and 20% in the other but it's better then what he currently has. The doctor is surprised at how accomplished he is with reading lips I guess it's been bad so long that he's been forced to learn to read lips. His old hearing aids just haven't been giving him any relief & we've been fighting with the government for 2 (two) years to get an approval for the new ones. I'll post tomorrow & let you know how they are working.
Guess I'll schedule Pat & myself an eye exam we are both in need of "new" eyes. I know mine are bad I can hardly see images on TV without my glasses. Oh well a lot of changes come with age - right???
I think I'll head to the warehouse & see what Pat's up to. I also need to switch clothes from the washer to the dryer. I'll blog again later. Have a super (hopefully sunny) Sunday. We love & miss everyone.
