Far to hot outside it's 96 degrees (low humidity thank God) but I mean hot. We just got home from a brief trip to Gainesville. There is a specialty store (Wards) there that is privately owned and they have wonderful produce, unique items, and specialty meats. Sooo, we ordered 22 Delmonico 1 1/2" steaks for the racquetball's weight loss competition. Patrick won the competition and has intention of spending all the winnings on the cook-out. We also purchased a new Kitchen Aid Grill it is being delivered I think Tuesday - WOW what a grill I'm certain Patrick will take photos once it is delivered. Eventually we plan on extending the back porch so we can have the massive grill off to itself with a built in small refrigerator and sitting counter with a prep area. All of this will be "eventually" by no means in time for the upcoming cook-out with the "master" ballers:):)
Dad's having a great weekend he is naturally watching golf and babysitting the dogs. I think Patrick has gone outside to work with some of the mulch around the newly planted fruit trees. Unfortunately, I can't tolerate the heat that is out there so I decided to pass on the outside activities and check the internet. I know Pat won't last long and we'll lay back and enjoy a movie or two.
Well, I think I'll change my clothes & see if Dad is ready to eat. I made a new roast in tomatoe gravy in the crock pot & boy does it smell good. Have a super day, I know the weekend is coming to an end but have a great day. We love & miss everyone.
