Great day yucky weather.  We have had rain since yesterday evening all we can do is watch the garden and the grass grow.  Boy will I have a job this weekend cutting all the lawn!!  Yesterday was a disaster someone hauling a trailer lost his trailer in front of the house & it plowed through our front fence & tore down one of the white entrance pillars yuck what a mess.  I must say, he came back last night repaired the fence and did a great job.  You can't imagine what it looked like when it happened.  We didn't have him replace the white entrance pillar as we planned on redoing the front entrance later this season.  Now I guess we'll have to do it sooner then expected as it looks a little strange with just one pillar out front.

Football conditioning was good last night it started to rain before they finished but all in all it went well.  Patrick was a little shocked that some of the basics hadn't really been covered with the guys but all three of the coaches are working hard to resolve the problems.  I have to say we have one hard working "want" to please team - GO BOYS we're very proud of you ALL OF YOU!!

Temperature has fallen into the upper 70's today I guess it's because of the rain however, the humidity is 93% so it's miserable even though we're out of the 90's for now.  I imagine the temps will rise again as soon as the rain is over.  I hate rain but we desperately needed it and our garden has certainly enjoyed the fresh rain.  New fruit trees seem to be doing well - Patrick mulched around all of them and keeps watering them every day - guess fertilizing is in line in the next week or so.

Dad's doing okay, physical therapist is coming twice a week and the nurse twice a week so we keep him buzy with the appointments.  His appetite is wonderful I just don't understand why he never puts on a pound sure wish I had that problem.

Well, I guess I'll change clothes & go outside to see if I can help Patrick.  He's working the new grill that was delivered yesterday so I'm certain I can offer some assistance.  Remember we love & miss everyone.
