What a beautiful day, and to top it off my son had a gorgeous dozen of multi-colored roses delivered for Mother's Day. They were brought out today because of our location but I love the idea behind getting them after the event occurred. I think that's smart thinking & they simply brought me to tears. Thank you so much son for your thoughtfulness - I simply love both the flowers & you:) I know the roses that Pat gave me will die first but I will still have the ones from you - how clever:)
Super duper weather today low temps (81) for us and little to no humidity. Sure glad the 90's from last week have come & gone I hope it stays gone for a little while. When the weather is like today all you want to do is stay outside and enjoy. Pat is at the warehouse doing something to his lawn trailer and I think Dad is reading - some things never change. No idea what's for dinner today, we have football conditioning tonight so it will be light that's for certain.
I hope to pressure wash the front porch tomorrow it really needs done and since the racquetball cook-out is quickly approaching (May 22nd) I think I need to get busy with a few things around here. The new cover arrived today for the grill I can't wait to have a build-in done for it, it's far to nice to just be a free standing grill on the porch. I know, everything can't be done at once so I need to wait until the time is right.
We're going tomorrow early evening to a BBQ with a couple of the guys from the gym should be lots of fun. I think I need to get busy making ambrosia so I can take a dish with me. I promise to blog again later or tomorrow. Remember we love & miss all of you.
Hugs,
Patty
