GORGEOUS weekend, nice and sunny with low humidity. Patrick & I just ran to an area just North or Tampa to pick up a garden tiller for the tractor. Looks like the fall garden will be bigger then this one. We're both excited about tilling the ground and planting more plants just wish we didn't have to wait until fall. Most of the things that we would eat should already be in the ground for this time of year so looks like we need to wait to plant.
Dad's doing fine, in his chair watching college baseball - I can't believe it, he never watches baseball sooo he must be bored. He rode his electric wheel chair out to see the garden tractor/tiller I love to see him get out & about even it it's just to walk to his wheel chair then ride outside. All the activity he does helps with his lungs and eventually he feels better.
Of course Pat's outside piddling with his new toy tiller guess he'll be sanding & painting it before long. He found it on Craigs List and we got a really good deal & for an outside piece of equipment it's hard to spend thousands of dollars on something that's going to get weather beaten anyway you look at it. Looks like we just added another piece of equipment to the tractor - boy I never thought I'd enjoy this kind of life I guess we really do change as we get older.
Okay, I need to fix a bite of lunch Pat & I haven't eaten all day. I'll blog again tomorrow or later this evening. We love & miss everyone.
