Can't believe I haven't blogged since Monday - yep, my brain has fadded quickly. Anyway, the "heat" is still on down here feels like 99 degrees outside although the temp says it's only 90. I'm about ready to jump into the shower so we can get ready to leave for football conditioning. Sure hate to see the boys (& coaches) have to sweat so much in these temps - but trying to get the team ready is challenge enough for the coaches & players let alone the heat. Regardless we've got high hopes for them and with enough conditioning I'm certain they'll feel & see the changes.
Pat's taking a brief rest before we venture out into the heat. Dad's doing fine, watching TV & reading. Not much change with the animals - Hank is not getting any better & seems to eat less every day we're only taking one day at a time. He doesn't appear to be suffering any but we suffer watching him get thinner & thinner as each day passes. Abner is Abner always under foot and trying to eat something that either belongs to one of the cats or Hank. He's such a character and has so much personality - animals we live our lives around them & FOR them.
Well, we need to leave in less then an hour so I better shut up & get this posted. Remember we love & miss everyone.
