I can't believe my site has been down & I haven't been able to blog. I don't know what happened but Patrick must have gotten it fixed. I'll have to get him to post pictures again of the tractor work we did for the winter garden. He posted them for me but something happened to the site and the blogs didn't post. Sorry, I'll try to catch you guys up on everything. The winter garden is coming along fine, we've done the first plowing now we have to redo it two or three more times then put some cow manure down so it will be good & fertile. We don't plant until August but we'll at least have a nice growing area when the time arrives. Our summer garden is growing like crazy, tomatoes, squash, long green peppers, red peppers, and nice fresh herbs. Sure wish we were close enough to share them with you guys. Seems like I take something to the gym nearly every day to give to someone.
Weather wise, it has been hot as can be here. Seems like just about every afternoon we get rain and thunder storms. Last night we managed an entire practice (football) with just a few light rain drops. However, after practice it poured I mean poured. Unfortunately, the humidity rises and the heat is on in the morning. The "feels like" temperature right now is only 100 degrees so I guess you could say we're lucky. We really can't complain because everyone seems to be have unseasonably hot hot weather. It could be worse we could be having hurricane threats also so I guess I shouldn't complain. Actually we go to the gym every morning (like usual) and come home to watch TV or get on the computer until the sun starts to go down, then it's ususally checking the garden & shooting pool. Thank God we don't have to go out to work every day I don't think I could handle that.
Hank is doing okay, getting thinner and thinner I don't know how much longer he will last. He doesn't seem to be suffering but his legs are very weak & it's hard for him to get up & go outside. He is in diapers and we take great care of him. Yesterday he had a day that he ate and ate thank God, but really no improvement. Abner leaves him alone most of the time I think he realizes he isn't well.
Well, I think I'll close & see if this is going to post - I sure hope so. Remember we love & miss everyone.
