WOW, the 4th is over and everything (practically) is closed today including our doctor's office. We have an appointment but there is no answer (all day) so I assume they closed & failed to call us to cancel the appointment. Oh well, better I found out before we drove 45 minutes to a non-existing appointment. It's overcast today and looks like rain again - what's new we seem to have showers every day. Our small roma tomatoes are getting slits in them from far to much rain I gave some away today at the gym boy could we supply the family/friends up north with tomatoes. Uh maybe we'll go down by the street and throw them at the passing cars. No I think I'd rather give them away.
Yesterday was a quiet day for us, we stayed home last night and enjoyed the area fireworks. From our backyard we could view about eight different sets of them WOW how fantastic. Down side the sky was cloudy so some of them looked very distant. Patrick tried to shoot some pictures but most of them aren't nearly as good as last year. Guess we have to blame it on the cloudy skies and rain that we encountered yesterday and all of the past few weeks.
Gym is over for the day - they had later opening hours and early closing today so I'm glad we're our normal early birds. I think I'll make a nice tomatoe, onion, and green pepper salad (naturally out of our garden) for lunch. If any of you are by stop & I'll feed you a nice "fresh" healthy lunch. Remember we love & miss you guys.
